Twist Pile Carpets
Twist pile carpets are smooth, hardwearing and practical, which makes them very popular. They generally don’t show footprints or furniture marks, and are easy to maintain.
They’re a good choice for areas with lots of foot traffic and for families and pet owners.
Loop Pile Carpets
This type of pile is generally hard-wearing and practical, so it’s ideal for Hallways, Stairs & Landings and other high-traffic areas.
But loop carpets can be damaged by as animals with claws – especially cats – are likely to get them caught in the looped fibres.
Saxony Carpets
Saxony styled carpets often have a soft, deep, cut pile, they feel luxurious but they’re easily flattened and show vacuum cleaner marks.
They are best suited to bedrooms and living rooms, but we recommend avoiding in busy areas such as hallways.

Woven Carpets
Woven carpets are made by weaving fibres in and out through the backing material. They are known for their traditional and modern patterns.
They are very durable, hardwearing carpets but they tend to be patterned and more expensive than a normal tufted carpet due to the labour intensive and slow manufacturing process.
Waffle Carpets
Waffle carpets are designed to be used in bathrooms and en-suites as they are rot proof and are suitable for wet areas.
This is a type of carpet engineered for bathrooms, it is easy clean and has suitable widths.
Gel Back Carpets
Gel back is a commercial grade carpet designed for offices and shops etc. We have various different qualities, this style of carpet is extremely hardwearing and is rot proof, anti-static and water resistant.
This style of carpet is suitable for all areas, both domestically and commercially.
Velvet Carpets
Velvet pile carpets have a dense, short pile with a smooth velvety finish, so they’re soft and comfortable. Usually high end, luxurious and desirable. However some velvet carpet can water mark and shade after time and wear.
